Items in this design are found with a printed drape and ribbon backstamp, similar to Mason's, plus the words Patronised by the Duke of Wellington. By default the design is now often referred to as Duke of Wellington, although this hardly does justice to the bucolic shepherd and his sheep standing amidst an area of natural beauty, with a cottage ornee in the near background!

Overall in good condition, there are minor signs of use and wear. The glaze is finely crazed with some associated light staining. Looks lovely on display.

Printed in a relatively light blue, there is wear to the rim, with rubbing and browning mainly behind and a few tiny glaze blemishes. There is an area of restoration to the foot rim. On display it all looks fine, with a lovely shine to the glaze.
