Candlestick Chamber c1900
F and R Pratt of Fenton, Staffordshire produced their Pratts Italian from about 1890 to 1920. It is a 19th Century design and it is assumed that Pratts obtained the printing plates from the original maker.
This short chamber candle stick comes complete with an integral draught shield. There is an Italian scene printed inside the draught shield and externally the print is an all over floral design. The printing is generally good and clear. The glaze is crazed with some staining internally, but there is no damage and this is a rare survivor in this collected pattern.

This candlestick is a wonderful piece and beautifully decorated. The sconce is adorned with a lovely floral border both inside and outside, which is repeated on the pretty scroll handle and the base. The main Italian pattern is around the central stem.
Backstamp: Pratts Italian.
Light all over crazing and underneath a little very minor wear, overall excellent condition and a fabulous piece.

Light crazing to the glaze and close inspection reveals the base of the stem has been off and restuck and repaired. Overall though a really lovely piece.

Extremely pretty hexagonal canister with cover.

Crazed with a little minor discolouration inside the neck of the caddy and a couple of discreet hairlines to the rim of the cover. Overall absolutely fine.

Hors d'Oeuvres Dish c1920s
This is a really pretty three sectioned dish with central loop handle. Each section has a gorgeous floral border surrounding the Italianate scene. Crazed with a little discolouration underneath otherwise excellent condition.
Blue printed backstamp Pratts Italian plus a curious green printed backstamp of Henry Alcock.

A delightful romantic scene on this vase, with Italianate buildings in the background and a lake, peacocks and a wonderful elaborate urn filled with flowers in the foreground. Two small hairlines and a small restoration to the rim and fine crazing to the glaze makes this sound much worse than it looks!

This vase is octagonal or square with cut corners, depending on your preference. The printing is good and clear.
The glaze is crazed with some staining internally and there is a small chip under the foot rim, which only just shows. Otherwise an extremely good example of this collected pattern. Blue printed backstamp.
