Teapot with Stand c1933
These pieces made especially for the Claremont Tea Company. Most unusual teapot with wide decorated collar and decoration to the spout and handle. No makers backstamp, but this is by Palissy. Blue printed marks on teapot are "Claremont Tea Co. Tea specialists Newcastle on Tyne and Glasgow".
The teapot spout has a tiny nick underneath the spout otherwise fine. The stand measures 6 ins across, has no printed marks, but has the impressed date for May 1933. It has two under rim chips but the face is bright and clean. A really lovely set and so good to get the teapot and stand together.

Around the collar there are a couple of tiny manufacturing blemishes, otherwise excellent condition.
