Sauce Tureen c1920s
Attractive set complete with both stand cover and ladle. It is actually a marriage, with the tureen, cover and ladle made by Edge Malkin and Company - the earlier partnership of Newport Pottery and therefore these pieces date from around 1900. Stand has light crazing and a couple of rubs to the rim and is a slightly darker blue. The tureen has a little very very minor staining inside. The ladle has border pattern only around the bowl and along the stem and in parts is a little smudged. It has one or two lines of crazing - nothing major. The cover also has a little minor crazing otherwise is fine. A lovely set.
