| Maker: Morley and Ashworth Pattern:Unidentified Pattern colour Comport Dessert c1860 This is very much a Morley shape, which was carried through to the Ashworth era, so whilst there is no maker's name on the base, we have attributed this piece to the Morley & Ashworth partnership, which appears to have been the first to use the full Royal Arms, which are printed on the base.
The Oriental inspired design is printed in a dark slate grey and highlighted with hand painted pastel shades in various colours, with added gilt decoration. Rather sumptuous. Hardly any signs of use and in superb condition. Dimensions: 27.5 cm x 21.5 cm / 11 ins x 8.5 ins
