Serving Dish c1930s
To describe this as an oval serving dish does not do it justice at all. The raised sides and ends are wavy and indented and the side handles rise higher than the sides and have bold moulded decoration. We believe that this was originally described by Masons as an orange dish and it would certainly look great piled high with oranges at Christmas. Today it would look equally lovely as a display piece, either flat or raised on a stand.
