Tile c1880
One of a series of tiles, designed by William Wise (1847-1889) for Minton. This tile features a young woman with baby and young boy in a farmyard and is printed in brown. Backstamp: Mintons China Works Stoke on Trent Mintons Stoke Upon Trent Walbrook London. Light all over crazing and there is a chip to the lower right corner and a little minor pitting to the rim.
