Comport c1815
This pattern and similar ones go under the names Trophies, Fitzhugh and Trophy and were produced by Spode, Minton, Heath and Harrison. We believe this elegant dessert comport, with its delightful arcaded rim to have been made by Minton, although there is no maker's backstamp. It is without doubt a piece of the highest quality and could have graced the table of the finest in the land. It is in immaculate condition and as bright as the day it was made nearly 200 years ago.
