Magnificent huge platter printed with a delightful floral design in a luscious flow blue.
Minton registered the design with the pattern name Flora on 23 October 1847, although they had had an earlier pattern called Flora.
This platter has a few minor glaze blemishes from manufacture and a few utensil marks, but is in superb condition, almost as good as new.
Impressed BB for Best Body and New Stone and with date cypher for 1852 plus blue printed registration diamond for 23 October 1847.
