Spitoon c1825
This is an absolutely fabulous piece, actually large enough to be a stunning vase. Beautifully decorated and with two lions head side handles.
Backstamp: Dresden Opaque China.
Light all over crazing with three hairlines to the flared rim and a few minor blemishes. Overall a fabulous piece and in pretty good condition for something approaching its 200th birthday!

Toilet Box c1826
An extremely pretty box with embossed decoration and pattern both inside, around the base and to the cover.
Backstamp Dresden Opaque China.
To the base there is a tiny chip to the outside rim, a very small hairline and tiny chip to the inside rim and generally just a little wear to the top rim. The cover has four small chips to the inner rim, not noticeable when it is in situ'. Underneath the box there is a little wear. Overall a delightful box.

An absolute delight. Ewer, wash basin, three part soap dish and toilet box with cover and each is an exact miniature version of Minton's full size toilet items. What makes this set extra special is the contemporary solid mahogany wash stand, with its pretty shell motif carved as an integral part of the back rail.
