Wonderful octagonal plate in this complex chinoiserie design. No backstamp. Light crazing otherwise excellent condition.

This design was an early Minton introduction and has similarities with Caughley's Fisherman pattern. No maker's backstamp, only blue printed star, plus a dot on the rim. There is a restored rim chip at 2.30pm and the glaze is crazed, with just a hint of associated staining here and there. Actually looks brighter and more attractive than the words suggest!
