Oh this is so unusual! Printed in a dark blue it is an absolutely fascinating pattern. The border is inset with three vignettes of two birds and three of what appears to be the branches of Hawthorn in flower. The central view is of two fans, the one on the left featuring two fishes (makes this a great gift for Pisceans!) Excellent condition.
Blue printed backstamp Mintons Bombay and registration mark for 1878.

Meat Dish or Platter c1877
An amazing dish. There are so many different elements to this fabulous pattern, to the border prunus blossom and pairs of birds and to the centre two fans one adorned with two fish which almost looks like the zodiac sign for Pisces!
Backstamp: Mintons Bombay, impressed Mintons and date cypher for 1877.
There is a little wear to the front and the back and to the outer rim but overall excellent condition.

Gorgeous shallow dish from a dessert service with lustre rim and highlights to the side handles and rim.
Backstamp: Bombay Japan, in script 1273 and impressed FX.
Light all over crazing with a little wear to the lustre rim, overall excellent condition.
