One of a series of tiles, designed by William Wise (1847-1889) for Minton. This tile features Deer in parkland and is printed in brown and the back of the tile is glazed.
Backstamp: Mintons China Works Stoke on Trent Mintons Stoke Upon Trent Walbrook London No 1699.
Light crazing with a little discolouration although this is mainly on the back. All corners have small chips, the surface has some scratching and on the back there is some pitting to the rim.
