Dish rectangular c1840
Middlesbrough Pottery Co produced the charming Dresden Views pattern, which is actually a series of different views on the various pieces in the complete service. This particular view is a delightful romantic scene that is both well engraved and printed and here on a lightly potted large rectangular dish. The dish is an unusual piece to find and makes a striking display, both flat or on a stand. The glaze is finely crazed, but excellent condition overall. Backstamp: Dresden Views and impressed Middlesbro Pottery.

Pickle Dish c1840
Delightful little dish with fluted rim and side handle. Backstamp: Impressed Middlesbro Pottery. There is some wear and discolouration to the rim and on the back also a little loss of glaze to the stilt marks.
