The scene depicts Nuneham Courtenay, Oxfordshire, the seat of the Earl Harcourt, set in grounds laid out by Capability Brown around 1780. A lovely dish with the tree and well feature. It has a some minor wear around the outer rim and on the back otherwise is in excellent condition. Blue printed backstamp: Wild Rose J Meir & Son

Made by John Meir & Son of Tunstall, Staffordshire. The scene depicts Nuneham Courtenay, Oxfordshire, the seat of the Earl Harcourt, set in grounds laid out by Capability Brown around 1780. Backstamp: blue printed Wild Rose I M & S. A little surface scratching and on the back a little very minor wear, overall excellent condition.

Lovely large rimmed soup plate. Backstamp: Impressed crown. There is a little minor wear to the outer rim, minor surface scratching and a few lines of crazing. Overall excellent condition.
