This series of attractive named rural scenes is now usually attributed to John Meir of Greengates Pottery, Tunstall. Here the scene is Kirkham Priory, Yorkshire and printed in a very soft blue. Backstamp: Scroll cartouche with Kirkham Priory, Yorkshire. There is a small stain to the rim and a little very minor surface scratching, overall excellent condition
