| Maker: Masons Pattern:Two Temples Teapot c1820 Bone china with gilt. Attributed to C J Mason of Lane Delph on basis of shape and typical Mason's seal mark. Lovely London shape teapot with ornate gilt design around the body and to the spout and cover. It is a good size teapot and inside is an elaborate gate to stop tea leaves, leaving via the spout.
Backstamp: blue printed Chinese seal mark.
The gilt rims are quite worn and there is some wear and the occasional blemish to the glaze. There is a firing fault under the top spur on the handle, where the two pieces join.

Backstamp: Mock Chinese seal.
Some surface scratching and discolouration, the latter mainly to the outer rim and on the back. Overall excellent condition.

Blue printed backstamp of mock Chinese seal.
Hairline crack running down from rim for 1.75ins, otherwise bright and clean. Dimensions: 19.5 cms diameter 3.5 cm deep / 7.75 ins diameter 1.25 ins deep
