Absolutely delightful piece with superb decoration. The footed base is completely patterned on the inside with wide border pattern around the body and narrow around the foot. The two side handles are moulded to give a leaf effect. The domed cover has an attractive split handle. It is a little mottled inside and underneath to the rim, but this really is quite minor. A huge ewer and bowl! The 16 sided bowl has the lovely border pattern around the outside, with border pattern around the inside rim and Blue Pheasants pattern inside to the base. The glaze is crazed, mainly inside, but otherwise excellent. The wonderful octagonal ewer has the famous Masons serpent handle and has a capacity of just over 9 pints. It is in superb condition. A lovely 12 sided pot, blue printed under the glaze with hand applied colour, lustre rim and gilt highlights to the hydra handle.
Backstamp: Masons Patent Ironstone China and in script B 9799.
There is a little surface scratching and just a touch of discolouration inside otherwise excellent condition.

This is a beautiful large octagonal ewer. Blue printed under the glaze with hand applied enamel colour and ochre rim and gilt highlights to the hydra handle. It is crazed and there is a touch of wear to the ochre rim otherwise superb. Printed backstamp Masons Patent Ironstone China England and in script 9799 4

Toothbrush Beaker c1900
Blue printed under the glaze with hand applied enamel colour. Ochre rim. All over crazing and two small minor rubs to the rim. On one side there is just a small smudge of blue on the white part of the beaker.
