Ewer and Bowl c1870
Lockart & Co of Glasgow. This is a wonderful set. The bowl has the border pattern inset with vignettes around the outside body and inside rim with the full pattern inside to the base. It has fine all over crazing and there is a little roughness to the stilt marks inside. There is a possible hairline or manufacturing fault to the outside of the bowl just above the foot, but this doesn't go through to the inside and is really visible only on close inspecition. The ewer is a fabulous shape and stands on a round decorated foot. It has light all over crazing and there is some discreet restoration where the handle joins the ewer otherwise this is in good condition.
