James Keeling. Pierced rim plate with gilt rim and highlights. The gilt is quite worn and there is a touch of crazing and light associated discolouration but overall very good. Cheese Stand c1830
Lovely large stand with white embossed decoration to the rim. Made by James Keeling, the views were taken from Travels in Mesopotamia by J L Buckingham. Backstamp: Views in Mesopotamia. There is a little wear and discolouration to the rim, a small glazing fault under the rim and a little surface scratching, overall very good.
Dimensions: 30 cm diameter, 6.5 cm high / 11.75 ins diameter, 2.5 ins high
