Vase c1890
A fabulous most unusual piece with gilt spatter decoration around the rim and to the body. The side handles are formed as long loops and highlighted with gilt. Backstamp: Birds and Bloom G J and Sons Rd No 56152, black printed GJ & Sons England and in script 9480. Pattern design was registered 13 September 1886. LIght crazing and there are three discreet hairlines to one of the loops and two hairlines and a little wear to the other. Overall the hairlines do not detract from this fabulous piece.
