The gilt is very worn and there is a little wear mainly to the rim and some discolouration inside to the base. Sounds much worse than it looks.

Meat Dish or Platter c1930s
This is a magnificent platter. With beautiful wavy rim and moulded side handles. There are some minor signs of wear to the rim and the back, otherwise it is in wonderful condition with barely a scratch to the surface. This looks like a piece that has only been on display and never seen active service!
