With gilt although on the base this is worn. Lovley hawthorn pattern printed in a rich dark shade of blue. The cover does not fit quite as snugly as it might and the pattern to the base is a little hazy compared to the cover. They definitely started out life together.. There is a small firing fault to one corner not noticeable when the cover is in place. This is a lovely piece. Blue printed backstamp S Hancock and Hawthorn.
