Inside there is some surface scratching, a little roughness and loss of glaze to the stilt marks and the occasional very minor manufacturing blemish. Overall excellent condition.

Vegetable Dish with Cover c1870
Lovely dish standing on four small feet, with moulded side handles and ornate moulded handle to the cover. The dish has full pattern inside and around the rim with two vignettes of pattern on the outside and lovely floral pattern to the cover
Backstamp: Asiatic Pheasant B & H.
There is a very small unglazed spot on the cover probably where it touched something in the kiln, a little minor wear to the finial and elsewhere just a little minor mottling. The dish has a little very minor wear to the outer rim otherwise is in excellent condition.

Lovely dish with moulded side handles and standing on four small feet.
Backstamp: Asiatic Pheasant B & H.
Inside there is a little surface scratching which has discoloured slightly, also a little wear and discolouration to the outer rim and underneath. Sounds much worse than it looks this is a lovely dish.

Lovely stand in a colour not often seen in Asiatic Pheasants pattern.

It has a touch of crazing, a little minor surface scratching, a little wear to the outer rim and a few minor blemishes, overall excellent - sounds much worse than it looks!

Benjamin and Sampson Hancock. Fabulous large dish with wavy rim.

Crazed with a couple of very small areas of discolouration on the rim, overall excellent condition.

Comport with Cover c1880
Made by Benjamin and Sampson Hancock of Stoke, active 1876 to 1881, this round comport with its domed cover is a delight. Base has two small grip handles and a decorated splay foot.
The glaze is crazed on both pieces, but they are in excellent condition. There is the usual question as to whether the base and cover started life together, but they are a good match.
On the base a blue printed Asiatic Pheasants cartouche with B & S Hancock.
