Made in one piece this is in effect a dinner plate fitted with a lower chamber to be filled with hot water. There is a filling hole in the rim of the plate which once would have had a bung. This piece has light crazing with some associated staining to the rim and part of the plate. There is an under rim chip which does not show through to the top. All in all a rare and lovely piece.
