This really is the most amazing nautilus shaped ewer. It has a fantastic moulded handle with extremely decorative moulded detail around the rim and the foot. The lovely floral pattern is of steely blue chrysanthemums. Light all over crazing and there is a small chip under the foot which just peeps through. One can only imagine what a superb and unusual set this must have been when complete with its bowl.
