Jug or Pitcher c1820
This is a fabulous jug printed in black with four different rural scenes around the body and inside to the rim. Backstamp: Opaque China BB & I (Baker, Bevans & Irwin) and impressed triangle. It is crazed with some associated discolouration. There is a manufacturing chip to the spout which has been glazed over and two other chips to the spout and one to the rim which have amateur restoration. There is a star crack to the base and some wear to the handle. If you like your pieces to look old then this is one for you!
Dimensions: 1.05 ltr, 16 cm high / 1.75 pint, 6.25 ins high
