Made by Wallis Gimson & Co of Lane Delph Pottery, Fenton, active 1883 to 1890. A most unusual rectangular dish with delightful bird and floral pattern.
No backstamp.
There are a few minor blemishes mainly to the lid otherwise excellent condition.

Sauce Tureen c1885
Made by Wallis Gimson & Co of Lane Delph Pottery, Fenton. A most unusual and attractive rectangular tureen complete with cover.

To the tureen base there is a little very minor wear and a tiny chip and tiny hairline to the rim neither of which show when the lid is in situ.
