Bone China with gilt. A fabulous teapot with solid cobalt blue handle and spout, the latter with lovely gilt decoration.
Backstamp: Ford's China CF England Alfred B Pearce & Co 39 Ludgate Hill London EC (the latter is the retailer).
There is a small hairline to the rim and just a touch of wear to the gilt otherwise excellent condition and a joy to behold!

No backstamp but this is firmly in the style of Charles Ford of Cannon Street, Hanley, Staffordshire active 1874 to 1904.
A few very minor blemishes, overall excellent condition.

Charles Ford of Hanley. Bone China. A wonderful little piece and in excellent condition. Bears an impressed registration mark, which indicates that the shape was registered by Charles Ford of Hanley on 3 February 1875 under number 288972.
