The successive partnerships of Smith Ford & Jones, Smith & Ford and then Samuel Ford & Co of Lincoln Pottery, Burslem, Staffordshire made Lonsdale. Most items have just Lonsdale or Made in England on the back, but examples with a Samuel Ford backstamp are recorded. Unmarked examples are possibly earlier. With gilt although only traces remain. Some surface scratching and small glazing fault to rim. Under the rim there are four chips one of which just peeps through. Do not be put off - this is a lovely piece for display!

With gilt although this is quite worn in places. Sadly lacking its cover, but this is a lovely piece on its own - would look superb planted with bulbs. Small nick to inside rim otherwise fine.

This has seen life - it has some light crazing with some discreet hairlines although these are noticeable only from inside. There is a little staining around the foot. A lovely piece for display.
