Ironstone. Backstamp: Imp Ironstone China Stoke Works. A little surface scratching and touch of wear on the back otherwise excellent condition.

Sauce Tureen Stand c1825
At first sight this is Blue Pheasants by Masons, however the backstamp is attributed to Stephen Folch (& Sons) of Stoke, active 1819 to 1829, and on closer examination there are several differences to the Mason's version of this design. This is possibly a small platter or more probably the stand for a sauce tureen. It is in excellent condition and this is a rarer and better quality ironstone item than its Mason's eqivalent. Blue printed backstamp of pre-1838 Royal Coat of Arms with IMPvD IRONSTONE CHINA, STOKE WORKS within a drape below.
