The scene depicts Nuneham Courtenay, Oxfordshire, the seat of the Earl Harcourt, set in grounds laid out by Capability Brown around 1780. Made by Thomas Fell and Co of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Impressed mark of anchor and FELL & CO. Glaze is crazed with staining mainly on the back and a small rim chip on back. The face is pretty good and will look fine on display.

The scene depicts Nuneham Courtenay, Oxfordshire, the seat of the Earl Harcourt, set in grounds laid out by Capability Brown around 1780. Rimmed soup plate made by Thomas Fell and Co of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Backstamp: Wild Rose T Fell & Co and impressed Fell & Co. Light all over crazing with a little wear to the outer rim a little blurring of the pattern to the rim and on the back some wear to the foot.
