Blue printed backstamp: Crown over Doulton daisy containing Doulton Burslem with England and Melrose beneath.
RD. No. 316420 and Pattern No D121 in script.
Some wear to the gilt around the dish - not noticeable when cover in situ and a short hairline about 0.5" 1cm down from the rim, near one of the handles.
Looks fine on display.

Rd. Now. 316420 & 316421 With gilt rim and gilt line decoration. NO COVER. Pretty set albeit incomplete! The stand is not marked but is definitely Doulton Melrose. It has a small under rim chip. Tureen is in superb condition.

Rd. Nos. 316420 & 36421 With gilt rims and gilt line decoration. Delightful tureen with stand and cover. Stand has a little minor light crazing and there is a little wear to the gilt around the ladle cut out and to the top of the finial on the cover otherwise in superb condition.

Rd. No. 316420 With gilt rim and gilt line decoration. A truly splendid set. The boat is a most unusual shape with an ornate scroll handle and patterned inside the spout. the stand is a lovely piece in its own right with wavy and moulded rim.
