A most unusual shape of jug in this lovely floral pattern. Once with gilt but this is now virtually all worn. It has a very small minor glazing fault by the handle and has one or two minor blemishes but overall a lovely jug.

With gilt. From a ewer and bowl set but now a magnificent piece on its own. Fabulous moulded detail around the rim and pattern both inside and out.

Bowl large footed c1900
With gilt. Impressive large bowl, beautifully patterned inside and outside and to the foot.

There is surface scratching inside to the base, the gilt is very worn, there are a few small areas to the rim which have lost glaze and on the outside there are three very small pieces of grit in the glaze. Oh dear, this makes it sound awful, but it is a stunning piece.

A pretty but sturdy piece made for spitting into. Originally particularly for users of chewing and dipping tobacco but these days more commonly for wine tasting.

A lovely embossed body printed in shades of blue with stylish gilt decoration. Pattern named after the old cottage rose depicted, registered in 1897 under number 307815 and this version is pattern number D38, introduced 1899. A bit dull internally and a little wear to gilt, but excellent condition.

Wash Set c1909
With gilt. Fabulous set of a ewer and bowl, chamber pot, soap dish and vase. This is Gloire de Dijon with additional gilt decoration around the rim.
Backstamp: Doulton Burslem England also on bowl impressed Doulton Burslem England and date for 1909 and in script A8184.
Ewer has light all over crazing and inside minor discolouration and a small firing fault. Bowl has a little mnor wear to the rim and the occasional very minor blemish. Chamber pot has a little wear to the gilt and inside some surface scratching and minor discolouration. Soap dish has a little minor wear to the gilt and is lacking its lid otherwise excellent condition. The vase has light all over crazing a little wear to the rim and underneath a little discolouration otherwise excellent condition. Overall this is in really good condition and so rare to find all of the pieces together.

With gilt. Absolutely gorgeous two part dish - base and strainer. The base has two ornate side handles with lovely rose design either side. The strainer sits on top of the base. This has decorative moulded decoration around the rim and rose decoration to the centre. A most deightful and unusual piece. Would originally have been part of the toilet set.
