Morea pattern is a series of different romantic scenes appearing on the various pieces. It is well recorded and usually shown as maker unknown, however, on the strength of having in the past had a platter with the impressed Dimmock monogram, we attribute pieces to Thomas Dimmock of Shelton and Hanley, Staffordshire active 1828 to 1859.
Backstamp: blue printed cartouche with Morea and Stone China beneath.
Some signs of wear mainly around the rim, otherwise good condition. Dimensions: 34 cm x 23.5 cm / 13.5 ins x 9.25 ins

Crazed with a little green smudging to the rim of the bowl, a little minor blue smudging and discolouration underneath the bowl and a tiny speck of excess clay to the tip of the spout.
