Plate c1830
Delightful plate with moulded detail to the rim and lovely bird to the foreground of the pattern. Backstamp: Villa Scenery D & B. This plate is attributed to Deakin and Bailey of Waterloo Factory, Lane End Staffordshire, although there were two other potters who may have used the initials D & B. Crazed with a little wear under the rim and some blue smudging here and there. Overall very good and a lovely plate.
