Soup Tureen Stand c1848
A lovely early piece of Watteau by probably the original maker of this pattern. Originally a stand for a sauce tureen but is a lovely decorative piece in its own right. There is a little staining around the stilt marks and the moulded side handles show some signs of wear otherwise fine. Has impressed date mark for 1848.
