A stunning large dish in this wonderful chinoiserie pattern. Backstamp: Davenport above an anchor. Light all over crazing to the glaze, with occasional minor blemish, including a little pooling of the glaze along the outside of the border at ten o'clock. Some wear, rubbing and discolouration to the rim from use. Some minor utensil marks. Overall excellent condition, with good bright shine to the glaze.

An absolutely gorgeous platter with gently indented rim. Backstamp: Davenport above an anchor. A little light crazing and a small rub and minor wear to the outer rim otherwise excellent condition.

This is a gorgeous small platter with pierced detail to the rim. Impressed Davenport above anchor. There is a very small chip on the back to the foot rim otherwise in superb condition.

Fabulous pattern printed in a light, soft slightly steely blue. Backstamp: Impressed Davenport above an anchor. There is some wear and discolouration on the back and to the outer rim. The face of the dish has some pitting and scratching.

A pretty shape of dish with pattern on the inside only. Backstamp: Impressed Davenport above an anchor. A little surface scratching and an unsprung chip to the rim. Elsewhere is a little minor discolouration and on the back a small chip to the foot rim.

These Dessert Tureens are a delightful shape and sit on a fixed stand, with decoration both outside and inside. Absolutely delightful. Backstamp: impressed Davenport above an anchor. Excellent condition.

Bough Pot c1815
Provenance: The Terence A Lockett Collection. A rare bulb or bough pot of tapering D shape with integral moulded ring handles, cover missing. See "Davenport China, Earthenware & Glass,1794-1887" by Terence A Lockett and Geoffrey A Godden, where plate 105 illustrates this rare pot. This is the actual pot shown. Small hairline to rim, but a bright, clean item of considerable rarity and impeccable provenance.
