A decorative serving dish, loosely octagonal in shape with a scroll handle at each end. Pattern on inside only and one wonders if this fitted in a larger dish that held hot water. The debate continues as to whether this pattern depicts Bisham Abbey or Oxburgh Hall. It is also known as Tudor Mansion.
No maker's backstamp.
In immaculate condition, with just a touch of fine crazing to the glaze.

Gorgeous little plate with a basket weave and pierced rim.. This pattern also known as Tudor Mansion and Oxburgh Hall.

There is some loss of glaze to the stilt marks, a touch of discolouration and wear to the inner rim and a couple of small rubs to the pierced rim. On the back there is a little minor discolouration and two tiny chips to the rim. Sounds much worse than it looks, this is a lovely plate.
