Robert Cochran & Co, Verreville Pottery, Glasgow. Very attractive platter printed in a pretty pale shade of blue. Crazed with a little damage to the rim and a touch of minor wear around the outer rim. Blue printed backstamp Syria RC & Co VP.

Dish with Cover c1850
This is a very attractive dish with a most ornate knop to the cover. Printed in a pale blue the central romantic scene is surounded by a border of floral and scenic vignettes. The base has a few glazing blemishes and just one or two lines of crazing. The cover has a hairline to the rim otherwise is in excellent condition. We have attributed this to Robert Cochran & Co, Verreville Pottery, Glasgow, although the backstamp is not the usual one.

Bowl with Foot c1860
Robert Cochran & Co, Verreville Pottery, Glasgow. Lovely bowl printed in a pale blue.
Backstamp: Circle of fern like foliage.
There is a little roughness and discolouration to the stilt marks and some surface scratching inside, but overall excellent condition. Underneath the bowl there is a security code scratched into the glaze.

A really pretty drainer printed in a pale blue. Light all over crazing otherwise excellent condition. No makers marks, but this is Syria pattern made by Robert Cochran & Co, Verreville Pottery, Glasgow.
