Meat Dish or Platter c1820
Made during the Bevington period 1817 to 1824 at the Cambrian Pottery, Swansea, Wales this is their version of a pattern better known by Rogers, although the two versions are quite different. Illustrated are the remains of an ancient building near Foroz Shah's Cotilla near Delhi, which was illustrated in an aquatint in Thomas Daniell's Oriental Scenery. No maker's backstamp, only 18 impressed twice. There are a few minor utensil marks, but this platter is in superb condition, almost like new. A beautiful example from Cambrian Pottery.

Made during the Bevington period at the Cambrian Pottery, Swansea this is their version of a pattern better known by Rogers, although the two versions are quite different. The glaze is finely crazed and there is a small restored chip on the face of the rim at 2 o'clock and a restored nick at 11 o'clock, otherwise this is bright and clean and looks fine on display. No makers backstamp, only 14 impressed.

Gorgeous plate with amazing foliage detail to the border. Made during the Bevington period 1817 to 1824 at the Cambrian Pottery, Swansea, Wales this is their version of a pattern better known by Rogers, although the two versions are quite different. Illustrated are the remains of an ancient building near Foroz Shah's Cotilla near Delhi, which was illustrated in an aquatint in Thomas Daniell's Oriental Scenery. No backstamp, only impressed o. Light all over crazing with a little surface scratching and the plate has domed slightly in firing. Overall excellent condition.

Soup Plate c1820
No backstamp. Two rim chips have been restored, there is a small rub and some wear to the outer rim and a little discolouration on the back, but the face of the plate is unscathed with barely a scratch to the surface.
