| Maker: Cambrian Pottery Pattern:Long Bridge Comport Hors d'Oeuvres c1800 What a find! Attributed to the Cambrian Pottery, Swansea, Wales. The only mark is an incised makers mark g. Long Bridge pattern is sometimes called Swansea Willow and this comport has the version of the pattern associated with Swansea plus the ochre enamel rims, which is typical Swansea decoration. 9 ins diameter and stands 3.75 ins high on stem and decorated foot 5.5 ins diameter.
Does have a couple of rim hairlines, plus another very minor one, and a rim chip easily restored. The glaze is crazed and in places taken up some light staining. Despite these signs of age it really is a gorgeous piece of early pearlware. Dimensions: 23 cm d 9.5 cm h / 9 ins d 3.75 ins h

The glaze is finely crazed, with some staining on the back. A few signs of age, including a tiny rim chip at about 4 o'clock, otherwise good condition.
