This design was registered on 26 July 1894 and became a popular one for Burgess & Leigh, especially in the flow blue version. Here it is in the original dark grey version on a large tree and well platter.
Backstamp: grey printed Rd No 236650, semi-porcelain and shape Rd No (illegible).
Glaze sound, some light utensil marks, otherwise in excellent near original condition.

Vegetable Dish With Cover c1890s
With gilt. A stunning dish with beautiful ribbon effect side handles and central final to the cover.
Backstamp: Rd No 236650, semi-porcelain B Shape Rd 236241.
The cover has light crazing and a little wear to the gilt. The dish has a small minor firing fault to the side handles and a little wear to the gilt otherwise excellent condition.

Soup Tureen c1890s
With gilt. Fabulous set of large tureen, ladle and stand. Gorgeous ribbon effect handles to the tureen.

The stand has a little light crazing and wear to the gilt. The ladle has a couple of minor blemishes under the bowl. The tureen is in excellent condition.
