Wood, Challinor & Co of Well Street Pottery, Tunstall and Sandyford, Tunstall, active 1860-1864. Small stand with wavy rim and ornate moulded side handles.
Backstamp: blue printed W C & Co.
Light crazing with some minor signs of wear to the rim.

Sauce Tureen Stand c1860
Wood, Challinor & Co of Well Street Pottery, Tunstall and Sandyford, Tunstall, active 1860 to 1864. This small stand is for a sauce tureen. It has a wavy rim and pretty moulded side handles. Blue printed mark. There is fine crazing with a little light staining to one of the handles.
