Samuel Johnson of Britannia Pottery. Straight sided jug in a lovely smoky blue. Minor signs of wear to a little of the rim.

Made by Samuel Johnson of Britannia Pottery, Burslem, Staffordshire. Printed in a black flow blue with a floral Art Nouveau design and gilt line decoration to the neck and foot. Some wear to gilt. Excellent condition. Blue printed backstamp of Britannia within circle, containing S Johnson, Burslem, Britannia Pottery and beneath England and Registered No 202311 for 1892

Samuel Johnson, Britannia Pottery. With gilt. Quite a chunky stand printed in a deep flow grey/blue. Crazed with a few signs of wear to the rim but the surface is remarkably unscratched.

Samuel Johnson of the Brittania Pottery, Burslem. with gilt although this does show signs of wear on the base. Crazed with some light associated staining to the base. An attractive dish in gorgeous colours.
