Meat Dish or Platter c1825
Made by Zacariah Boyle of Hanley and Stoke active 1823 to 1852 and his version of Spode's popular Italian pattern. Some knife marks to face through use, one of which has taken up some light staining, in one of the clouds. Generally though bright and clean and an attractive piece. Has combed back. Impressed backstamp Boyle.
