Cake Plate c1880
Bone china with gilt. An unusual plate with embossed decoration circling the centre and printed with an aesthetic design featuring flying ducks and roosting birds. Made by E J D Bodley of Hill Pottery, Burslem active 1875 to 1892. Backstamp: Impressed EJDB and registration mark for 11th September 1876 for the shapes of a service of teaware.
A little very minor wear to the gilt otherwise excellent condition.

A most unusual ceramic and silver plate toast rack standing on four small feet.
Backstamp: Impress EJD Bodley Ivory
There is a little wear and discolouration to the base, mainly to one corner, but overall in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Base measures 17 cm x 10 cm / Base measures 6.75 ins x 4 ins.

Fabulous piece printed in a rich dark blue. The foot rim on the back is pierced for hanging.
Backstamp: Impressed Bodley & Son Ivory.
Light crazing with some surface scratching, overall excellent condition.

Muffin Dish c1876
E J D Bodley of Burslem. bone china with gilt rim. A most unusual dish with the brown leaf like transfer set on moulded relief with a pretty floral pattern to the rim of the cover. The finial on the cover set on a pink circle.
