Plate c1870
Transfer printed outline, but virtually all hand painted this is a lovely plate.
Impressed backstamp Ashworth Real Ironstone China and printed Royal Arms with Ironstone China beneath. Pattern number B20 ? in script.
This is an early Mason's pattern re-introduced under Ashworth Bros ownership. It is illustrated in Ironstone by Geoffrey Godden.

This is a very attractive dish in a fabulous shape with decorative moulded detail to the rim.
Backstamp: Masons's Patent Ironstone China and impressed Masons Patent Ironstone China.
There is a small under rim chip and also underneath a chip to the foot rim. Elsewhere a few minor signs of wear.

This is a fabulous piece with ochre rim, beautifully decorated both inside and out
Backstamp: Mason's Patent Ironstone China.
A little minor surface scratching inside and some brown mottling underneath the foot, but overall excellent condition. A truly lovely piece.

Sauce Tureen c1920s
With gilt. This is a most attractive set,decorated in shades of terracotta that go so well with deep blue and gilt. All three pieces have crazing which on the tureen has absorbed just a little light staining. Otherwise in superb condition with the gilt beautifully intact. Dessert Tureen c1820
This is such an onate set printed in a gorgeous colourful floral pattern. The tureen has a lovely moulded body standing on an amazing split stem.
Backstamp: Printed and impressed Masons Patent Ironstone China.
The centre of the stand is generally worn otherwise fine. The tureen has several firing faults where the clay has parted a little in firing, these are mainly noticeable inside. The ornate cover has a large chip to the inner rim (not visible when cover in situ'), which has resulted in a hairline of approx 2.75 ins, and the finial has an amateur repair. Sounds so much worse than it looks, this is a fine display piece.
