Fabulous large oval dish with rim decorated in a rich cobalt blue. Backstamp: Impressed Ashworth. Excellent condition.

Cheese Dish Stilton c1877
This pattern is normally known by the name India, but whether that was the factory name for it or a later given name is uncertain. It is a Chinoiserie riverscape scene. With gilt rims and gilt highlights to the finial. A substantial ironstone cheese dish in as yet an unidentified chinoiserie pattern. The background of the cover is turquoise but the base background is white. Backstamp: Impressed Ashworth and in script pattern no. B3392 The gilt rim on the base is a little worn and also the gilt to the finial on the cover. The finial also has a firing fault and a few signs of wear. The turquoise background has a little minor wear.

Chamber Pot c1870
This pattern is normally known by the name India, but whether that was the factory name for it or a later given name is uncertain. It is a Chinoiserie riverscape scene. Fabulous pot with 10 sided body printed in a rich blue. Backstamp: Impressed Ashworth. A few minor glazing blemishes but overall excellent condition.

Plate c1860
Large plate with attractive indented rim. Backstamp: Real Iron-Stone China and in script 143. Light crazing with a little wear to the rim otherwise excellent condition.

Dinner Plate c1860s
This pattern is normally known by the name India, but whether that was the factory name for it or a later given name is uncertain. It is a Chinoiserie riverscape printed in a mulberry red, but mostly hand painted in the most gorgeous colours, mainly red and cobalt, with yellow highlights. This is an old Masons design, here produced by their successors Ashworths and it features in Godden's Guide to Ironstone, Stone & Granite Wares Printed backstamp crown over Real Iron-Stone China and script pattern number 143. Superb condition.
