Oval dish impressed with the date for December 1886. This is an attractive dish although the surface is fairly mottled in places and has quite heavy knife marks. The rim also shows signs of wear.

Unusually this is an oval meat dish in Asiatic Pheasants, made by the famous G L Ashworth & Bros (Masons) of Hanley, Staffs. 1862-1968. Three stilt marks to face and few glaze blemishes on back, but gorgeous condition. Impressed mark ASHWORTH and date 9:86.

Cake Stand c1885
Such an elegant piece standing on a tall slender stem. No crazing but there are spots of browning in the glaze, here and there. You can see it on the large photograph. It is not as "wonky" as it looks on the thumbnail photograph!

This is a rarely found piece in Asiatic Pheasants. It has some discolouration around the rims but there is no crazing. Impressed Ashworth and impressed date for October 1883.

Comport with cover c1880
Absolutely delightful piece with superb decoration. The footed base is completely patterned on the inside with wide border pattern around the body and narrow around the foot. The two side handles are moulded to give a leaf effect. The domed cover has an attractive split handle. It is a little mottled inside and underneath to the rim, but this really is quite minor. Made by G L Ashworth & Son, owners of Masons Patent ironstone China. A delightful and decorative piece, with decoration to the face, under side and round the splay foot.
Some minor crazing to the glaze, plus a discrete hairline that runs from the rim to the centre of the plate and an old chip to the foot. Otherwise good condition.
